Prepare the Vehicle
A small amount of preparation protects personal property and makes the agreed areas easier to reach.
Remove valuables and sensitive items
Take out cash, wallets, medication, IDs, work documents, electronics, spare keys, and other sensitive or valuable items.
Clear loose belongings
Remove bags, clothing, toys, accessories, trash, child items, and loose cargo from areas expected to be cleaned.
Point out known damage
Identify loose trim, tears, cracked controls, broken vents, repaired paint, chipped glass, exposed wiring, warning lights, leaks, or fragile components.
Describe problem areas
Explain stains, odors, spills, pet hair, sap, tar, bugs, mineral spotting, or other concerns so expectations can be discussed before work.
